The Zac Brown Band represents one of the few glimpses of hope on country radio today. In a format dominated by rowdy party songs and sugary-pop songs, the band is a true one of a kind in country music of the 21st century. While effortlessly fusing genres, they both remain true to their country roots while also achieving commercial success, a feat rarely achieved these days.

Zac Brown to me is just hands down the best songwriter putting out new material. He also has an incredibly strong voice that when coupled with emotion makes most of his live versions better then the studio versions. My favorite songs are the live interpretations of Free/ Into the Mystic, Junkyard and Colder Weather on Pass the Jar.

I think the Zac Brown Band is everything that should be right in today’s music. They are constantly changing their styles with every song they do. All of their singles sound different than the last. Thanks for the chance to win the new cd by them

Zac Brown Band is great because Zac Brown Band is authentic. I never get the feeling that he is trying to sing what he thinks I want to hear. He sings what he wants me to hear. In this era of record execs cranking out formula song after formula song, Zac Brown is a refreshing break from the mediocre. He’s an actual artist and not just a mouthpiece for the record giants. They are all around excellent in a sea of “meh.” If that’s not something to be celebrated, I don’t know what is.

Zac Brown Band is unique when comparing them to most of today’s country artists. Instead of the country pop style that many country artists put out today, Zac Brown Band seems to mix it up by fusing different genres while still remaining true to their country roots. In addition, their musicianship is first rate with some of the best guitar work & fiddle picking to be heard in county music.

No need to repeat why they are the best band out there these days…one of my favorites is Highway 20 Ride. My kids are with me 24/7 so I can’t relate to some extent, but the lyrics are so good that I can. And musically its perfect.

I like Zac Brown Band because they just don’t stick to country, they traverse other genres in music such as bluegrass and reggae. But what amazes me is that they always sound so polished in their music, and they go outside of the norm of radio country music, for instance not releasing overproduced music. My two favorites have to be “On This Train” and “Martin.”

I have been following Zac Brown since his days picking and playing at local fraternity’s at U West Ga. One thing I have truly admired is he has never compromised his music or his passion for bringing that music to the fans. In today’s country music this is a breath of fresh air, with all the cookie cutter “bands” or music row’s hand made creations on the ol’ radio dial. I hope his 10 year overnight success story will be an inspiration to the next generation of artists and let them know that IT can be done with a little, err lot’s of hard work and dedication to the music. Keep it coming ZBB, you can count on at least 1 cd sold!

The Zach Brown Band is such a nice change in the land of country music where so many groups/people all sound just alike. ZBB has proven that they are unique & plan to stay that way. Each one of their albums is so enjoyable. As you listen, you find yourself singing along with ZBB. Their lyrics are always catchy & fun..

Zac Brown Band is my all-times favorite music group. I adore their variety of genres, and the fact that can pull all of them off. My favorite are “A Different Kind of Fine,” “Day That I Day,” “Jump Right In,” “Let It Go,” and “Whiskey’s Gone.” This music lights up my world and has truly changed my life. Thanks Ben!
